by Howard Wolfson, Communications Director

Previewing Today: Hillary delivers a major policy address in Philadelphia, PA announcing bold action to halt the housing crisis. Her 4-part plan helps millions of families facing foreclosure by expanding the government’s role in guaranteeing restructured mortgages, and promotes policies to stop the broader housing crisis and credit crisis.

Freshman Volunteer: University of Pennsylvania freshman, Patrick Bauer, volunteers 40-50 hours a week because he supports “someone who [can] deliver on Day One…Hillary is the only one who really has that experience and perspective. She's the only one who can go in on Day One and produce positive change.” Read more.

The Hillary I Know: Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz tells Pennsylvanians, “I know that Hillary…believes in our capacity as Americans to meet the challenges ahead with vigor and vision…As president, [Hillary] would put all of her extraordinary talents, depth of experience and tenacity to work for all of us: to make our nation strong and secure, to rebuild opportunity and prosperity, to restore our standing in the world.”

On the Trail: America Ferrera told Pennsylvanians in Allentown that Hillary “stands up for us…Now is our time to stand up for her.” Read more.

March Madness: Today marks the last day of Pennsylvania voter registration. Register here.

On Tap: Tomorrow in Pennsylvania, Hillary attends a “Solutions for America” round table in Greensburg.

  • Registering to Vote

I hope everyone realizes the importance of voting.  Today in PA., it is you last day, make a difference and register and exercise your right to vote.  I personally hope you Choose Hillary.  She is a Woman with a vision, goals, inner strength, and well educated.  I faith she can lead the Democrats and the Country in the right direction.  Please take time to research  her agenda's and don't be biased by all the media hype.  She is a Woman of her own Free Will and Choices.

    PA Momentum

    Happy Easter Everyone,

Hope everyone had a very relaxing weekend. Lets get out in force this week and get back to the work of helping to elect Hillary our next President. I'm looking forward to her speech today on the home foreclosure crisis. I gave another $100 on Saturday, and will continue to blog, call, email, and do whatever I need to. I think we also need to continue pushing for FL, and MI. I've been thinking more and more about how unfair that is to not only the voters but to Hillary also. If that vote had been counted on Jan.29 she would have been way ahead in the delegate count even now because i think it would've swayed momentum towards her.

Lets give her the momentum she needs. We WILL do it!

    Go Hillary!

by Miketrmpt at 3/24/2008 9:55:24 AM

    Go Hillary!

I hope the media covers your initiative on the housing crisis.

We need solutions, and we know you are the only one to deliver them!

    Full speed ahead....

The Hillary Express, is once again picking up speed. We need to keep on track, the next 3 weeks are critical.Let's get those phone calls made, let's ask everone we know to donate. We can do this, yes we can and yes we will. "Win" this nomination, because we "must" the stakes are much, much to high. Our futures depend upon us bringing it home for the only candidate, who will really deliver real "change", Hillary Clinton.

by PAT at 3/24/2008 9:59:56 AM

    Staying strong!!

I hope everyone had a nice Easter and a nice weekend in general.

Hillary is still winning every singe state in the aol straw poll!  If you haven't voted in it yet, go to news.aol.com/elections.  The link to the straw poll is on the left side of the page.  The current vote is for March 17-24.  The next vote begins tomorrow.  Great to see such support for Hillary in EVERY SINGLE STATE.  Thank you!

Remember, every little thing we do gets us that much closer to having the strongest person in the WH as our 44th President.  Keep it up, Team Hillary!!!

    IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID

The reason I support Sen. Clinton so much is because I trust her on the economy.  During the Clinton years, life was good economically. Now with facing $4 per gallon gas and the cost of food going up-- I'm even more of a strong supporter of hers.

I am glad that she is making a speech about the ECONOMY because come this summer when the reality of gas prices hit, we are going to be glad that she stayed in the race and won the nomination for us....

by PaveyP at 3/24/2008 10:11:46 AM

    • You bet

According to the am news, Hillary is supporting the appointment of a panel to deal with foreclosure crisis!  Again, she is right on target!  The foreclosure crisis is the basis for our economic woes.  We can't wait for Hillary to be President to take action, we need action now and I'm glad to see she is walking the walk!  THAT'S WHY WE NEED HER IN THE WHITEHOUSE, SHE UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS GOING ON IN OUR LIVES!!!!
      KEEP THE FAITH EVERYONE!

And, yes, I'm writing my legislators, DNC, MI Dems, etc.  WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE SILENCED!  BO WAS DRAGGING HIS FEET HERE AT AGREEING TO RE-VOTE - GEE WONDER WHY.

by Michigan Fan at 3/24/2008 11:51:28 AM

    • RE: economy

Believe me Iraq is important to talk about but if Hillary keeps focused on the issues concerning the economy she will hit a home run.

by itsabouttime at 3/24/2008 4:01:03 PM

    • I could not agree more

When I first moved out of my parents house, I could shop for groceries for the whole week on a very tight budget and buy everything I needed for under $50 for me, my husband, our newborn baby and Brother in Law that we were living with. Now, I have 2 babies, a husband and myself that I buy groceries for. I still shop for the same things as my menu has not changed and now it is all I can do to leave the grocery store for less then $100 and that is not for all 7 days, that is only for 5-6 days. We need someone that can get this craziness back under control.

    Hillary's inspirational speech

It is time to hear from Hillary what she can do.  Come out with the truth about the Wonderful Country we live in, it's history of the founding father's intent, the trials and tribulations that it has sustained in order to make it great, how great it really is and how we will continue to work on those areas where we have yet to achieve perfection.

Remind us that the United States of America is a Great Country that belongs to all of us and it will take all of us to keep it that way.  Our United States of America is going through some trying times, but that WE WILL get through it by working together for the common good. This is what has always happened in our wonderful country and it will continue to happen by making good choices and working together guided by good conscience, compassion and a desire to do our best.

Well, those are just some ideas that I had. I'm sure Hillary could put it better. But I really believe that this is in Hillary's heart and our country needs her to let them know it's there!!! Keeping the details out but the message strong
so that no one can miss it!

GO HILLARY 2008  Madam President!! Our country really needs you.  Every day this is becoming more and more apparent.

by PDD at 3/24/2008 10:32:39 AM

We must win the other states

Hi Hill supporters, we must win Pa really big to close the gap in the delegate count. These other nine states are important also, because Obama has the delegate lead. I will give another $25.00 dollars today, who we match my gift for Hillary today. Yes We Can  Yes We Will win for Hillary.

by Pete from Georgia at 3/24/2008 10:50:27 AM

    Solutions

Once again, our candidate Hillary delivers real, substantive solutions, while our opponent is pre-occupied with the old politics of character defamation.  Hillary gives us a breadth of experience and degree of precision that we simply don't see from the other side.

A new week and a new day

Hello Hill supporters! The press has called Hillary the "energizer bunny" she just keeps going and going and so must we!

I have a very strong knowing that Hillary will not only get the nomination but will be our next president. So let's keep working diligently every day to make that reality come true. Get focused on doing things that will move the ball forward... calling, donating, and speaking up for Hillary in the press. I share this  affirmation with you to use when you get down:

"I am not going to make matters worse. I am not going to add to the mountain by entertaining any negative thoughts about the future outcome of this situation, no matter how dark or threatening things presently look. When I think about it, I am going to take a position that things are going to work out in a right and perfect way. Nothing is wrong with expecting a miracle, because my positive, faith-filled thinking does release the miracle working power of God in a human situation."

    Keep Positive

I no longer watch any news station that is biased against Hillary. I restrict my reading to stories that are positive for Hillary or that speak the truth about Obama. I come here for rejuvenation. It is important not to keep watching news that is bias. The news will spin anything positive for Hillary in a negative way for the most part. They have lost credibility and value. Don't give them one second of your time.

by Bluesky Arizona at 3/24/2008 11:01:25 AM

    • Being positive

I agree with you. I come to this site often because to watch the media only brings me down. But we will prevail. Continue to Fight.

by pongo at 3/24/2008 11:25:56 AM

      • PA Stay Positive and FIGHT!

As you guys know, Hillary has been counted out many a times. But she will POUNCE back when it matters! I trust her survival instincts! Stay away from the media. Blogs are worst! I don't do blogs. I come to Hillary's site for inspiration and TRUTH! We love you Hillary! YOU WILL WIN THIS NOMINATION. WE ARE BEHIND YOU 100%

        • Blogs

True, most of the the blogs are horrible, but Taylor Marsh's blog is a wonderful blog to visit. She has many articles that support Senator Clinton. I find it a good pick up after all the other garbage. Especially check out the article by formor Ambassador Joseph Wilson on Senator Clinton's foreign policy experience.

    Pay Per View

Someone suggested that the Elton for Hillary
concert be on pay per view, I think this is a
great idea.  I think that people who are not
Hillary fans would also subscribe.  You schould
do this for the people who want to see the concert
but can not afford it or are not near NY city.

    TV & Radio ADS

Okay, I'm a little sick and tired of hearing Obama on TV and the radio, we need to step up and contribute all we can because I want to start hearing Hillary's TV and Radio ads.  I have yet to see a Hillary AD,  let's go Hillraisers let's keep doing our part!!!

    Words vs Action

Ironic that while Hillary marches on and presents her solutions for the housing crisis in our country,  Obama finds time to relax in the Virgin Islands for several days. This contradicts Obama's answer as to why he's never held one meeting as chair of a committee that focuses on foreign places/enemies like Afghanistan. He said he had no time to hold such a meeting since beginning his campaign. That's okay, while Obama places importance/focus on relaxing in the Virgin Islands, Hillary will march thru Pennsylvania for a 85% win! RB in PA.

    Our Hillary

End in sight / A long way to go

    Hi folks,
My subject matter kind of sounds like double talk but this is the way it is. With only 10 Primaries left (not counting MI & FL) we are into our sprint but there also is a long way to go and a lot of work we still need to do. TEAM HILLARY needs to stay alert and active during this pause in the primary schedule. Obama and the media are trying to make it sound as though the race is over because they are scared to death that Hillary is going to run the table with the remaining Primaries and put her in position to take front runner status. Keeping positive and on the talking points will continue to show how Hilllary, her supporters and her campaign focus in on the isssues. When they hear Hillary's plans and see how thought out they are people take a second listen. What we need to do is continue to give Hillary the resources she needs. These last few months are prime Hillary country and we will pervail in all the upcoming Primaries. When everyone sees how hugh her win in PA will be they will flock to her. An off the subject observation is if Obama has to spend so much time and energy getting Republicans to register as Democrats in PA to win what does that tell you about his support within the Democratic Core base. Hillary is winning with Democrats and last I looked that's the party we belong to. It's not the Republicrats. Contribute to Hillary to ensure her the resources to win. ROCK ON TEAM HILLARY.

Foreclosure and your Mortgage Companies plan to help

my home is ready to go to trustee sale, we have been on the phone, faxing and snail mailing the bozo's at Washington Mutual to try and get them to help a family devistated with two deaths, they say they want to help but now there help is going to cost me another 200k on my loan, they help no one. We are losing our home because they will not work with us, they only make things worse. How can they offer me a loan modificaiton that takes my current loan and adds another 200K on top and interest rate of 9.9% and they also want $20,000 cash to pay for the late fees, costs, and attorney fees. We have lived in our home for over 10 years, lost our son to cancer, lost our mother to cancer and now we lose our house to foreclosure, I cant take anymore, and I am even having trouble finding a rental with our credit taking a big hit because of all this. Hillary, please keep your promises and help us when you are president. You will be there soon!

    Halting the Housing Crisis

The "crisis" caused by adjustable rate mortgages (ARM) makes little sense to me, particularly since key, related interest rates are static or declining.  Much like credit card interest rates ARM rates seem only to go up, never down.
Since no one can be held accountable for conformance to an illegal contract, I suggest congress stop the “crisis” in its tracks by retroactively invalidating terms that should be considered usury
