Today, Hillary sent the following message to her supporters:

Dear Friend,

You have been such an inspiration to me during this campaign -- your commitment and your boundless enthusiasm made everything we accomplished in the last 17 months possible. So as I continue to make sure your voices are heard, I wanted to say a special thank you for all the hard work you did on my behalf.

Click here to watch my video message to you.

Thank you for everything,

  • No, We Thank You

I for one will continue to send donations to the campaign and do all I can out on Myspace to spread the word.  Still here standing for you and ready to campaign when you are.

Please take a peek at the videos I made for Hillary on You Tube under Bama006.  Hope you enjoy them.

    Thank you...
    I miss Hillary :(

    • Thank you Jesse (and Bama!) for your efforts...

I will continue to contribute as well via purchasing store items because I want to own a piece of REAL history :)!

Friends of Hillary, do keep in mind that we need to stand for a Democratic Majority in the year 2009, regardless of it being under Senator Obama's leadership.  And also keep in mind that there are pundits discussing how those "so-called" Hillary supporters aren't even 18 Million and they cannot even pay off their debts.

Let's shut the 'naysayers' up, shall we?!

Best to all, and to those within the Hillary campaign.

Hillary R Clinton there is nothing that is going to stop me now to help raise money to help out with your debt we ALL need to do this for you.  You went out and kick butt and we crack 18 million in the White House ceiling I am going to do what you did for us and make sure your debt is clear.  I don't think you really have to rely on Obama because there are 18 million that believe in you.  What ever you want I am here to serve with honor.

Can you set up a contribution gauge as contributon comes in

I know this may be a potential drain on resources, but a periodic report on fundraising progress migh be a great incentive for people to know that there are many other Hillary supporters donating.

by Elizabeth in Ohio at 6/23/2008 9:06:37 PM

    I will buy a poster

I am so thrilled that she said next time it will be easier. I can't wait for Hillary to become the Commander in Chief of this country. She is such an inspiration.
I love the poster with the orange beams of light spreading from behind her head.
I'll get it as my contribution.
    Thank you Hillary

Please pay off Hillary's campaign debt

I maxed out in early April, so I can't contribute. Everyone, if you haven't maxed out yet, PLEASE contribute via this website. It's the only way to pay off Hillary's debt. We supporters must do this for Hillary.

    by VA4Hillary at 6/23/2008 9:48:58 PM

I will stand with you Hillary

Hillary, I will stand with you always. I admire you so much and miss you terribly. I will also continue to send donations.

You are a great inspiration to us all. God bless you, Madame President.

    by dee1153 at 6/23/2008 9:53:45 PM

    Thank you Senator

I will continue to send you money when I can, because even though you almost made it..I and  millions more, like me, know that the getting there was not as important as the journey.
You gave much to us Hillary, you opened our eyes and made some of us remember what it means to stand for up what we know to be true and fair, and right. You made us proud to be women and men who ,many of us from the 60's and 70's  realize that yes,yes we can make a difference! We must make a difference!
We will no longer stand on the sidelines and not be counted, we will no longer allow a Party, dictate to us, who we should fall in line for, just because that Party selected a candidate and did'nt listen to the voices of the people who elected a more suitable candidate. a woman for the people.

Thank you Senator, we have found our voice again, and we will not be silenced.

    • retire your debt

I just donated $25.00 today to help senator Clinton to retire her debt.  We must help her to pay off her debt because she had worked for us during the primary. Obama is not willing to help her to retire her debt even she endorsed him, tell her big fundraisers to help him in the GE and campaing for him.

by nguyensn at 6/23/2008 11:43:55 PM

    Donated

I was scared but I donated.  Do not want my money going to Obama.  Thank You Hillary.  Still praying for a miracle. If not we will try again in 4 years.
I wish you all the Brst. Keep your chin up when you enter the Senate floor next week.

    Not one dime to Obama

I'm still angry about this whole debacle and  that the best candidate, the most popular candidate, the only candidate for me, not getting the nomination.  If I knew for sure that my money would go to Hillary and ONLY Hillary, then I would donate.  How can I be sure that it would go for paying down her debt and hopefully building a war chest for 2012?
Donna from Long Island and only for Hillary

by DonnaD at 6/23/2008 11:33:47 PM

    • Not one dime for Obama?

      Hi DonnaD,

There is a website called ClintonDems.com that has an address where you can send money for Senator Clinton.  This site (Conribute) button is also still valid according to the Clinton campaign...but on a check...if you've made it out to Hillary Clinton for President then it could not be forged or used by the Obama campaign

      by Jerry D at 6/25/2008 12:07:02 PM

    18 million support you

I will always support Hillary and continue to contribute to help pay down the campaign debt but I can not support Obama. Their views may be similar but they are 2 very different candidates. I am torn because I can't see myself voting for 4 more years of the same with McCain and can not vote for Obama, I just don't trust him. An Obama/Clinton ticket still means voting for Obama...not sure what's left. Clinton 2012. I wish she would declare herself a write in or run as as independent in November. She'd have 18 million votes.

    Support Her Supporting US

Thank you so much Senator Clinton.

I maxed out my donations. What else can I do? I think it is really important that we her supporters retire the debt. What are the rules regarding us running ads or something to get the word out? If those that voted for Senator Clinton donate $1 or $10 or $100 we would have no trouble reaching the needed amount.

For the life of me, I still cannot believe she is not the nominee.

    Dear Hillary,

I will also donate to help pay down "our" debt. I would do anything for you, but one thing - I will never be able to bring myself to vote for Barack Obama.

I think about you often, and pray for your family as well. And I pray that you will be our President one day also. I've shed so many tears since you left the race.

We're with you NOW and FOREVER.

    God Bless You, HILLARY.

I just donated $100.00. This money is to help Hillary retire her debt. It is the least we can do for all she has done and will do for us.

    QUESTION

Right now, it appears that I have donated $2,300 to Hillary's campaign and am certainly interested in helping Hillary pay off her debt.  I believe that the limit for donating to a candidate durting the primary season is $2,400.  But now that Hillary is out of the race, does that limit still apply?

by Roland in South Carolina at 6/24/2008 12:19:50 PM

    Unfortunate for the DNC

I still haven't decided ....will it be a vote for McCain or do I stay home?
Hillary was and continues to be the right choice!
Can a true August miracle happen??
I WILL continue to support and contribute to Hillary!

    Dig Deep!

by andersen at 6/24/2008 11:35:53 PM

Can't contribute, but I'll support in other ways!

I haven't been working since the beginning of the year.  Even with that, I dug deep to contribute to Hillary's campaign because I so believed -- and BELIEVE -- in her message of making principled change and standing up for those who haven't been heard before.

Honestly, I am a little heartbroken that that glass ceiling wasn't smashed to smithereens because Hillary was THE woman to  do it.

Until I land a job, I can't help with financial contributions...but I'm still supporting you and Barack through positive interactions with Republicans and Independents.

Hillary...I can't wait to see you on the campaign trail again in a different role. (And living in Denver -- I might even have a front row "seat".)  :)

    Welcome Back!

Dear Senator Clinton, I am so excited that you will be returning to New Hampshire on Friday. I wish that I could get to Unity to hear you speak again and to begin to get to know Senator Obama better but my partner starts chemotherapy again that morning.
I believe in this new vision of unity. Months ago, I felt the possibility myself very strongly and, my dear, if we can pull that off, nothing can stop us. We will have the country that we dream of with fairness and opportunity for all. During this campaign, we have addressed the issues of racism, sexism, classism and ageism. We have begun the discussions that can only lead to a peaceful and prosperous America and, ultimately, a better world.
Thank you, thank you most of all for all you have done for women. I have never lost faith in you. I wish you great happiness and prosperity in all that you do. Of course, I will contribute whenever I can.

    Nothing has changed

When you build good relationships nothing changes what is at the heart of it ... trust.  Senator Clinton has built trust and commitment with her supporters.  We remain with you in the effort to retire your debt and to move on to the next phase of your campaign.   Some things are worth the effort … Hillary Rodham Clinton is without a doubt one of those things.  My donations will continue. Nothing has changed in the level of our commitment.

I think Hillary's emails should ask for $5 from everyone, or even $1.  It could be enough to pay off the debt.  It's heartbreaking to me that this truly great woman has debt.  I think it is heartbreaking to all Hillary supporters.  We don't want her to have to rely on anyone else to pay off this debt.  If we, as all of her supporters, could pay it off, it would send a tremendous statement to her and to the world.  We will always stand with you Hillary.

    Thank you, Hillary!!!!!

This was the first campaign I ever worked on in my 48 years of life, and I take pride that it was for such an outstanding candidate.

I continue to take pride in Hillary's accomplishments, and am proud to help support her in paying off the debt that *we* accumulated in the campaign.

I am voting for Obama in November, solely because Hillary asked me to and I respect her so much. If we believe in her, we have to trust her advice to us.

    • I miss you all too!!

I wish that Hillary were the nominee, but now I wish that Obama would be wise enough to have her as his vice.  She woud be a great help to his general election efforts.  It is going to be a tight race between him and McCain.  Obama is too far left for the independents and some center democrats and republicans, where as McCain looks good to the cnetrists, but may be too far center for his republican base, so we can expect a good  race. But, if Obama were to pick Hillary as his vice he could gain some of those in the center.  His vice presidential pick will be very important to his bid for the election. We Hillary supporters will be watching closely to see how the Obama camp treats Hillary and her supporters and I will also be watching the McCain camp to see how they treat Hillary and her supporters and I will vote for the candidate that treats us with the most respect.  But, I still feel that Hillary is the most qualified for the position.

I have sent you what I can afford to help pay down OUR debt.  You heard my voice and spoke for me and I thank you.  I want you to be in a visible position in our government - I don't like you being a Senator of New York as I live in California - but would love to see you on a regular basis for the next four/eight years until we get the pleasure of campaigning Hillary for President again.  So I am settling for a cambinet position/VP/while I am a lady in waiting.  I am from N. I've given $20 to help out, Hillary. I'll always support YOU... although my vote is non-transferable. Stay strong for us - and THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US HOW TO FIGHT. You are truly amazing.

    • Barack and Michelle each contributed $2,300 to Hillary's debt

      — Senator Barack Obama said on Thursday that he had written a personal check of $2,300 to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, a good-will gesture intended to nudge his top donors to help ease Mrs. Clinton’s campaign debt and help the two Democrats move beyond their rivalry to focus on the fall contest....
His wife, Michelle, also contributed $2,300.

    Helping Hillary

Sent in $25 to help Hillary. She is still the best, though I will vote for a Democrat this November, as I always do. I'm hoping that Hillary will have a major role in the new administration, even if she isn't VP. Universal Health Care in 2009!

by lmsmith at 6/26/2008 1:17:12 AM

    Hillary all the way!

I'll be sending in my Thank You card this week with 1$ in it but I think I will also contribute.  If all her supporters donated 1$, her campaign debt to others would surely be returned.

    Thank You

Thank you Hillary for all that you have done. I have never been envolved in politics before, but you were a candidate that I could relate to and stand behind 100%. I wish you well and I hope that I could be a part in whatever you do next. Hopefully, that will a run in 2012.

Villagers...I miss this site. See you at Pumas and hillaryvillagers.

As I have maxed out, I am not sure I can contribute anymore for your debt. I have asked the campaign, but have not received a response.

Stay well Hillary. Stay well Chelsea and Bill.

    My best to all, Kathy

    You are Still "My Girl"

    Hillary,

You have instilled the greatest "Can Do" attitude for women-kind. I do not think the Country is fully cognizant of the influence you have had (and are having) for women. The feeling is so sacred and so intrinsic. Yes, in your name, I will vote for Barack. However, please do not give up the fight. I stand with you. I support the congress women's checklist. I have supported your store.  Please continue to inspire, invoke, and challenge us to be our best selves. You tell me what you need; I will stand with you.

    MISS YOU

I will contribute towards paying "the debt" and hope everyone who was touched by Hillary does the same.  Good luck Senator.  You are still the smartest, the strongest and simply the best the Dem party has today.

I am still a strong supporter.

Hillary, You are a true Patriot and Role Model for All Americans!

    Senator Clinton,
I want to thank you for all the doors you have opened for future generation, particularly, Women of all ages, race, and economic status. You have been the voice and political concious of the "hard-working" forgotten middle and lower class Americans. It will be my pleasure to continue donating to your campaign as long as the site allows me. It is my fervent hope and prayer, at some future date, you will run again for the presidency. We need an experienced leader that will protect the nation, reshape the American economy, and defend the rights of the "Average Joe or Jane." America made a huge mistake in overlooking your leadership, hopefully, we can correct this in the future.

OBAMA/CLINTON 2008! REAL CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!

    I admire you so much!

    To Hillary,
I have been an Obama supporter from the very beginning but I just want you to know that I love you and admire you so much for what you have done for all of us since the day you left law school.  In particular, I am so grateful to you for having the courage and stamina to put up with all the sexist baloney throughout this campaign.  (The SNL bits were great!)  As far as I'm concerned, Letterman could talk about your pantsuits (which I thought were just fine) and "the best analysts on TV" could slice and dice everything you said, did, and wore, but I thought you "wore" it all with grace and dignity and you made me very proud to be a Democratic woman.  You have paved the way for future women of intelligence and integrity to persue their place in a so-called "man's" world and to be unafraid of taking on everything that they can throw at you.  I look forward to seeing you back in Iowa on the campaign trail and I especially look forward to what you can do to fight for our causes in the future.  I will donate whatever I can as often as I can to help pay off the monetary debt that you have now but I want you to know that we all owe you a "debt" of gratitude and I sincerely hope that your beautiful daughter follows in the footsteps of her remarkable parents.
    Thank you Hillary.

Can you set up a page for Obama supporters to donate?

    Hi -

I'm an Obama supporter but I was impressed with Senator Clinton's gracious speech today and would like to follow my candidate's lead and make a contribution in a show of party unity. I know a few other Obama supporters who would like to do the same, but we want a way for the campaign to know the money is coming from Obama supporters who are committed to uniting the party. I suggested to people that we add $1.07 to the end of the donation, but it would be cool if we could have a source code or something to use to donate so you know the money is coming from us. Would that be possible?

Thanks again for the gracious speech and the strong showing of unity today.

    Way to go

    Mrs. Clinton,
Thank you for all you have done for our country. As an Obama supporter from day 1, I wanted to just say thank you for lending your support to him - you have shown an incredible amount of class. I hope you stay very active, you have a lot to offer this country.

    Donate $20.12 to Hillary!

    Hi,

I just donated $20.12 to Hillary to show my support of her 2008 campaign and to reduce that debt.  She did a great job and I wish things had turned out differently.  But looking forward -- I want to help her complete this year's journey and get rid of the debt!  And I want to do it in a way that looks to the future - her being elected President in the 2012 election.  Thank you Hillary for your leadership, vision and courage.  Now it is our turn to support you by retiring this debt.  If we all pitch in a little this will be gone in no time.  Blessings, C in Washington State

My second day of giving!  Lets make July 4th Hillary's Independence day free from debt!  We must keep her voice strong for us!  We know after 35 years of dedicated service that she will work hard for all Americans each and every day!  Not often do we get the opportunity to be a part of her strong voice and her working hard for all Americans but we sure get to now by contributing!  We like what gets Hillary up in the mornings! We like that none of us will ever stop fighting for right! Hillary Clinton leader of our great nation!
